It's been a good four months since I last had time to release a build of TG so this one contains a fair amount of fixes and additions. To be honest I can't remember what most of them are but somewhere along the way they added a good 4000+ lines of code so they must do something...
One noticeable fix is that I've finally sorted out the generation of texture coordinates both within TG and in files generated by TG (with the exception of .T3D files). If you're a TG user please D/L the latest version and give it a go. If no bugs are found I'll update it as the final v3.0.0 build once the issue with .T3D texture coordinates is sorted out.

It's been a few years now and I know I don't post anything at all, but, I find myself waiting for you to go big time before I really become involved.

But seriously, it's been a fun ride and I see no end in sight. I know I haven't been too active lately but with HL2 coming I think I'll finally make the step from utilities to editor. I'm at the stage now where I no longer look at an editor and see a daunting task but a series of smaller more manageable tasks and how they all fit together.
Always nice to know my work is appreciated.

lol, I've actually been working on one for the past two days. Its been a slow process though cause the file format is quite large and I have no way of writing a test .gcf file. I have to work with the large 10-400MB gcf files that I have (which is a lot of ones and zeros to sift through).
So far I've figured out the directory hierarchy and how to find files in the directory in the file. But files are broken up into 8192kb chunks that can be fragmented (.gcf files are basically a small file system) and I haven't yet cracked how to put these files back together.
I guess you could say I'm about 60% done figuring out the format.
Nice. you would be a god to all mappers out there. People ask about this often in the forums. Only solution for us is to not delete cs1.5 or download the hl dedicated server files.

but i couldnt get it started, windows says:
"fail to initialize (0xc000135)"
does this say something to you?
