Hum, not really an issue with TG. The problem is with your compiler's clip hull generation; the complex terrain is probably confusing it or causing mathematical anomalies due to limitations in floating point numbers or integral math (not sure which the Quake engine uses). I would suggest simplifying or smoothing the problem areas out.

Thanks for getting back to me so soon I'll try that.

Hey, Nem, why having forums, if already using the commenting system?lazy

Originally there were a lot of Wavelength users that accessed my site, and since I hate signing up for anything, I thought they might appreciate not having to sign up to contact me.

These days it doesn't get much use and I rarely check it, but it still offers a platform for generic discussion that doesn't logically belong to any specific page.

Ok, I see... Well, on my website, I decided to remove forums and have comments only...

Hi, I'm new here. I'm trying to open a .GCF with GCFScape so I can access sound files. I like to mess with these files to improve sound effects on games. Like for example, I want a loud buzz instead of a weak one. I keep getting an error message.
Could not open H:\Games\Caterpillar\game.gcf
Invalid GCF version (v1087663055). You have a version of a GFCfile that HLLib does not know how to read. Check for updates.

I'm not using Steam. This game comes from egames/tikgames. Can anyone help me?

I'd wager that your file is not a "valid" GCF file. Also, what game is this of?

Thanks for this great program. (Crafty with materials browser)
When I try to open up and view models from classic dod such as a player models they look like a textured "lump' without arms legs etc. I have windows 7 64bit. If I open the apache model the blades of the heli appear out of the main body but the rest of that model looks correct.

Its been a while now, would you consider open sourcing your applications?
