When I first sat down to write this website I'd never seen PHP before, and like many of my projects to date, I dove head first into it (what better way to learn). Needless to say the design wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. It was full of security holes, made a mess of what standards there were and was a giant pain to maintain.
With v2.0 I've tried to keep what works the same while making it easier for first time users to navigate the site and find what they want. Most old links should be backwards compatible with the new code base. If anyone notices any bugs please let me know. I'm aware that there are still a few oddities with the style sheet, but I'm by no means a master of this stuff.
Hope everyone enjoys the new site design. My apologies for the down time, but it was necessary to update the database.

For those who are interested, I'll be releasing HLLib v2.0.0 and GCFScape v1.5.0 by the end of the month. The new HLLib maintains a similar C++ structure to v1.x.x, but also has a C wrapper allowing it to be used by various other languages. It also has a new more flexible mapping interface so files can be loaded from anywhere efficiently, even from within other files (e.g. .wad files within .gcf files). Additionally files can now be streamed meaning larger files extract more efficiently and responsively. GCFScape v1.5.0 will take advantage of these improvments and more.

Nice update to the site

Also put a max width on the page, big screens the text gets wery tasking to read because each paragraph is like one line.
For some reason i also have a horisontal scroll bar in IE7 witch only scroles 1px...
Other then that nice update.
Oh and good to hear about GCFScape 1.5 beeing more responcive.
